Internships and Field Experiences
Experience Matters
Start shaping your future now by exploring internships, hands-on experiences, and fieldwork opportunities that can help you apply what you're learning in class to real-world settings. Many students with internships even turn these experiences into full-time job offers from the same organization.
The sooner you start, the more prepared and confident you’ll be when exploring your post-graduation path. The most important step to take is to start, and every experience moves you closer to the kind of professional you’re aiming to become.
The Office of Career Exploration and Success, in partnership with campus career providers, offers the Rutgers Handshake platform as the primary source where you can find internship and job postings. The system serves as your primary career management system.
