The Scarlet Hub is an online resource that centralizes information on financial aid, billing and payment, registration, records, admissions, and key deadlines. Need your transcript? Want to view your offer letter or term bill? Time to register for classes? The Scarlet Hub website gives students access to essential enrollment-related tools—all in one convenient location.

Rutgers student email is called ScarletMail (Google Workspace for Education) and can be accessed at http://mail.scarletmail.rutgers.edu/ or via myRutgers.
During NetID activation, you set an Official Rutgers Email Address in the form of firstname.lastname@rutgers.edu. Email sent to this address is delivered to your ScarletMail inbox. To manage your email configuration, go to netid.rutgers.edu and click “Manage Email Addresses.”
Reading ScarletMail through any other mail program, such as on a phone, requires a separate ScarletApps mobile/IMAP password. To set up your mobile password, go to netid.rutgers.edu and click on “Manage Your ScarletApps Mobile/IMAP/POP Password.”
The ScarletApps suite provides additional enhanced communication and collaboration tools, such as Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Calendar, and Sites.
Alumni can continue to use ScarletApps services forever, providing a lifelong link to the many resources available to the Rutgers community.

ScarletPitch is a university-wide competition for Rutgers-New Brunswick undergraduates to present innovative ideas that tackle global challenges. Whether it’s a social action project, a startup venture, or another big idea, this platform empowers students to showcase their creativity and make an impact!
Participating teams can win cash prizes and have the opportunity to represent Rutgers at:
- UPitchNJ: A statewide competition held in May. One Rutgers team will be chosen at ScarletPitch to represent Rutgers at UPitchNJ.
- Hult Prize: An international competition with semi-finals in June. One Rutgers team will be selected at ScarletPitch to compete in the Hult Prize semi-finals.
Applications for ScarletPitch open in December each year.
The competition is held annually on the last Friday in February.

The School of Environmental and Biological Sciences (SEBS) Educational Opportunity Fund (EOF) prepares students to solve challenging societal problems. Focused on access, academic excellence, and research, SEBS EOF cultivates students' capacity to make adaptive changes in their educational development and overcome historic socioeconomic factors that challenge their potential for success. SEBS EOF provides services that assist students in navigating the complexities of an academic and social climate within a global environment, and help facilitate an understanding of what is required to succeed in college as a science major. We educate researchers, scientists, and health professionals, promoting learning outcomes that produce first-generation college graduates and high-achieving STEM professionals.

School of Environmental and Biological Sciences (SEBS) juniors engage in pre-senior advising during the spring of their junior year to ensure a smooth senior year and graduation. Juniors meet with their faculty advisors to discuss their progress and their completed and planned courses. This process provides an critical opportunity for students and faculty to discuss experiential learning opportunities as well as career and post-graduate planning. Faculty advisors submit the Pre-Senior Worksheet to detail any updates to the student's academic plan and Degree Navigator. This advising meeting is required for all students in the junior class.
