The Rutgers Office of Emergency Management (OEM) provides information about communications and basic safety procedures to use in the event of an emergency that threatens public safety. We conduct emergency drills on a regular basis, working together with our counterparts on the municipal and county levels. These procedures are under continual review in order to maintain and enhance our ability to quickly and effectively respond to a public safety emergency.
