The Honors College also helps students pursue their goals for life after graduation. Whether a first-year student exploring potential career directions or a more advanced student looking for research and internship opportunities, our team is here to help students identify the best next steps.
Students receive resources and programs to help them clarify academic and career goals, select academic tracks and extracurricular pursuits that will enhance their professional portfolio, develop a professional network, and make successful career and graduate school transitions.
All Honors College students are provided with access to our diverse network of support including our dedicated HC alumni, distinguished alumni supporters, graduate mentors, and upper grade peers making it possible for all students, regardless of their socio-economic status or access to resources personally, to have the social capital they need in order to explore and venture into their preferred career paths. The Honors College produces a weekly opportunity email with a variety of opportunities, including research and internships, to help you build your academic and professional portfolio. Additional supports include our Peak Performance Series and IMPACT Leadership Series, which provide students with opportunities to elevate their professional skills.
