The Rutgers Immigrant Community Assistance Project (RICAP) strives to foster a safe environment on campus and to remove barriers to student success by providing immigration legal services and community education.
Students enrolled at Rutgers are eligible for a free and confidential legal consultation with RICAP. In some instances, direct representation may be available through RICAP or by referral to a reputable attorney.
Additionally, RICAP hosts community forums, informational immigration presentations, and Know-Your-Rights trainings.
For general information or to request an appointment with Managing Attorney Jason Hernandez, please contact RICAP at RICAP-info@law.rutgers.edu or 856-225-5792.
